Designing the First NFT-Enabled Web 3 Festival

A PR firm in Web 3 envisioned leading the NFT movement with an NFT-enabled Web 3 festival to bridge education with experience. They needed an expert at the intersection of human psychology, project management, and experience design to create the strategy for all of the experiences and delegate them to the production team.

Results

During the Blockdown conference planning process, our team brainstormed and co-created a cohesive narrative for how we wanted attendees to feel throughout their journey. We worked together to architect a unifying theme, storyline, and gamified aspects of the experience to ensure a cohesive narrative. We designed experiences for different events and onboarded support for on-site implementation. Additionally, we ideated the integration of blockchain technology into the physical experience, and focused on business development around partners, speakers, and sponsors. As a result of our collaborative efforts, Blockdown was a successful conference, with attendees feeling engaged and motivated throughout their experience. The implementation of blockchain technology was seamlessly integrated, and the event received positive feedback from both attendees and partners. Our approach to narrative design and experiential design was a key factor in the success of Blockdown, and we look forward to applying these methods to future projects.
