V was the first hire to work directly with the founders to determine the best MVP for the app. She encouraged the company to bring on friend and ally, Brendan Kane, as a mentor to support data collection efforts through social media. As a duo, they leveraged social media data to determine key features of the core MVP and then informed a cost-effective launch plan to design and deploy for greater data capture.
The whole process of refining the MVP with data-driven methods shortened the strategy life cycle to 2 months. When the pandemic hit and the implementation process was delayed, V continued to support with strategy, strategic partnerships, fundraising, and mentoring Brendan to strengthen the digital strategy skillset.
